Saving Morrowind

I just got Morrowind on my PC and I noticed there is no save option? How do I save?

There should be a save option when pressing escape... Otherwise, F5 = quicksave

You can not save until you leave Census and Excise Office.

Ah I got it. It was because I wasn't far enough in, so I couldn't save. Thanks though [:

In the time it took to leave the game and then write and post this topic, you could have easily found this out by yourself..........

I didn't experience the urge to save the game before I left the office when I first played Morrowind... :spotted owl:
