Building A Pilgrim

I've developed a liking of playing pilgrim and/or similarly themed classes as of late, and I was thinking of trying out the pilgrim in Daggerfall. Since Daggerfall doesn't have a pilgrim class, it looks like I'll have to make one myself. I'm open to your comments and suggestions, as I'm pretty inexperienced with Daggerfall's plethora of skills and exactly how useful they are.

Just to jog the memory, here's Morrowind's Pilgrim setup:
Spoiler
Pilgrims are travellers, seekers of truth and enlightenment. They fortify themselves for road and wilderness with arms, armor, and magic, and through wide experience of the world, they become shrewd in commerce and persuasion.
Specialization: Stealth
Attributes: Endurance, Personality
Major Skills: Speechcraft, Mercantile, Marksman, Restoration, Medium Armor
Minor Skiils: Illusion, Hand-to-Hand, Short Blade, Block, Alchemy
And here's Oblivion's
Spoiler
Hearty folk, well-versed in the tomes of old. They profit in life by bartering in the market, or by persuading the weak-minded.
Specialization: Stealth
Attributes: Endurance, Personality
Skills: Armorer, Block, Blunt, Light Armor, Mercantile, Security, Speechcraft

My initial thoughts. I've put this together largely based on the theme of the character, rather than how effective he might be.

Primary Skills: Mercantile, Archery, Blunt Weapon
Major Skills: Etiquette, Streetwise, Restoration
Minor Skills: Thaumaturgy, Pickpocket, Stealth, Medical, Climbing, Swimming, (running? hand-to-hand?)

My overall Pilgrim ideal: I'm looking for a character with a silver tongue with an interesting mix of the holy and mundane. Sure, he seeks the wisdom and blessings of the gods, but he's generally poverty-stricken and he's not above stealing or trafficking stolen goods in order to outfit himself. His wide experience have made him an attractive personality, and he uses this to avoid risky situations. Definitely a character who's very hardy but also very cautious and keen to avoiding outright conflict. The ultimate survivor.

Edit: Because he's a sort of Jack-of-all-Trades character, in addition to the obvious emphasis on Endurance and Personality, I'd also like to look at luck, speed, agility, and willpower as attributes this character favors.

:D

I always loved the idea of a Pilgrim as a character and class. The sheet you have set up is great, but I'm not sure if he should be stealing or using stolen goods. Does not seem like something a pilgrim would do.

Unless he is a Pilgrim of Nocturnal :P
