I installed Oblivion from Steam last night, and have already run into a few problems. It seems to run perfectly fine on Ultra High, until I exited the Sewers. That's when it first started crashing to desktop, and giving me the usual Windows report telling me Oblivion stopped working. I dropped the settings down to the lowest and rebooted, which seemed to do the trick. The game runs perfectly smooth, but does seem to just throw me out whenever it's needing to load a new area in the wilderness.

I'm running this on a Aspire 5742G, with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 and 4GB of DDR3, so I was a little suprised to have a problem with it to tell you the truth.

I've played a fair bit of Oblivion on the 360 but could never really get into it. It seems so much nicer on my laptop. Now I'm almost left wishing it didn't work at all, and at least then I wouldn't be able to tell the difference so much! Any help would be vastly appreciated. I'm a little useless when it comes to things like this, but will endevour to get other information, if you folks need it! Any suggestions?
