I just installed Windows 7 on my computer (which I was putting off for a long time because of all the hastle) Anyway I made back-ups of this & that & everything I thought were important. Windows Installed without much hastle and it made a copy labled "window.old" which was pretty much everything I had backup, except program files. Hmm, I thought to myself, I have all my program disks what do I need that for? To make a long story short I deleted the windows.old file which was gobbling up more than 90Gigs of space on my little harddrive.

A week went by of reinstalling etc & I got to the point of getting back to the mod I was working on. I was so pleased I remembered to save a copy of the last work I did,....... and then the reilization hit that I had no copies of the MESHES or TEXTURES which were 90% of the mod. Now I'm pretty much starting over except a few blender pieces I still had. 4 months of work down the drain...........

So that got me thinking. Any one else out there have stuff happen like that, any stories you'd like to share?
