What is the mostest hardcoest loot mod out there?

Hi all,

Just wanted to pick your brains. What is the most hardcoe loot mod available? I use Francesco's hardcoe loot setting, but once you reach levels in the 20's you're finding everyone has daedric and ebony stuff for sale. Is there a mod that keeps the top quality loot rare forever? Perhaps a much stricter system that prevents this stuff from the stores and maybe even from loot? Just wondering.....I'm level 25, with 567,000 gold....and I think I shouldnt be selling daedric and ebony after every dungeon crawl. Thanks for reading. and for any advice. Cheers.

I thought vanilla had merchants never sell daedric ever? Though of course Marauders all wore daedric...

Now does this mod affect tamriel travellers merchants? There's no mention of it in the readme, but I really hope so. Otherwise I may have to disable TT. We'll see.

My understanding is that it affects everything, regardless of origin.

It is correct that Enhanced Economy affects everything from any mod. But it also have specific Tamriel Travelers support because TT merchants don't use the standard merchant classes. Without this specific support, all TT merchants would have been treated as generic merchants and offered the same prices for various types of vares.

EE does very little to restrict what merchants buy or sell, so if the OP is looking for a mod that prevents merchant from buying or selling Daedric equipment, EE doesn't help. But it can help you prevent finding much loot to sell in the first place.

As you say, if it prevents them carrying the high end loot then I'm happy. Now you mentioned TT support for EE, I can't seem to find these anywhere on EE's release thread or TT's release thread.

Trust use when we say they work together, EE and Travellers work fine has do nearly all other merchant mod has well..even TIE Travellers works..

TIE is pretty hardcoe when it comes to loot, Even more than Frans and OOO..

has it remove daedric and high lvl stuff from enimies and move them into where you have to find those item via chest or placed in dungeons usually protected by something..

Fran's does this mostly well. Set loot on extra-hardcoe, or even higher, and you'll have to fight through dozens of marauders to get anything ebony/glass/daedric. But Fran's doesn't work across the board. Xivilais have a flat, good chance to carry daedric weapons, and dremora valkynz (the high level ones) will consistently drop daedric armor. Those two monsters don't use Fran's rare loot script, they just rely on standard leveled lists. Fran's also ignores certain quest npcs like the dunmer in Greyland, or the vampire hunter from bruma. They'll have the highest possible claymore for your level and very good armor regardless of what loot style you choose.

With Fran's set on extra-hardcoe, and ignoring drops I've gotten from Xivilai/Dremora/quest npcs, for 95 hours I've gotten four pieces of ebony armor, one ebony mace, one glass cuirass, a handful of glass weapons, and a full suit of elven armor.

If you could those monsters, I've gotton too much daedric and ebony. But I just leave them on the ground since (in my own little world) weren't earned.

Good point, it is well hidden in previous EE threads. The only remaining track of it is in EE's changelog. I'll look at adding a bit more about it.
