Lanius as the new Caesar.

So I just had an interesting thought, how do you all think the Legion occupied territories out East would become if House/NCR/Independent win at Hoover Dam, and Caesar died, be it through Courier intervention, his tumour, or the B-29 bombing run over The Fort. So now Lanius, having been talked down by the Courier, has become crowned as Caesar, what do you all think would happen to the East now following their defeat?

Well if he had been talked down by the Courier into realising the folly of un-necessary expansionism and honour in waror what-ever it could be a change for the better - for the Legion as an entity; Lanius is no fool and he does at-least understand the military reasoning behind spreading oneself too thin and loosing everything. He might focus on conquering more tribes to bolster the Legion and head East, I certainly don't think that he shares Caesar's goals of establishing a new Rome just yet.
