Fallout 3 GOTY CTD on startup (W7) : Fallout 3

Alright guys, as the title indicates I too have issues with getting F3 GOTY (retail version) working on W7. I've searched far and wide on the internet and have already tried a lot of suggestions of people who had similar issue, to no avail. Problem is simple: When I try to run Fallout 3 GOTY on my computer, the screen goes to black and a message pops up say that F3 has stopped working.

I know that my PC can handle this game as I played F3 back when it was still operating Vista just fine.

Some of the things I've already done to try and resolve this:

Running Fallout.exe in various compatibility modes, currently as Windows Vista
Reinstalled it multiple times
Running as admin
Running in different resolutions (Someone actually managed to solve the problem by setting it to a different resolution)
Deleting the .ini files
Adding and changing some strings in fallout.ini
Updated my NVidea GFX drivers
Installing F3 outside of the Program files folders

One last note, I've done all this with just Fallout 3. I haven't installed the DLC yet

Any help would be greatly appreciated
