Hello my fellow forumites! I am considering that when TES V is released I might do my first play through as a "lets play" on youtube, I know it's quite a while away but it will give me much time to prepare and sort out a nice new Mic.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this idea, You will of course have to put up with my thick Aussie accent.

So what does everyone think about this idea? I would most likely make a post here on the forums regarding Class and Race to find out what my viewers would want to see.

There once was a Morrowind "Lets play" I liked, so why not.

Sure, it'd be good for people looking to buy it but wanting to see it first. I probably won't watch though, since I'll be playing it

No offense, but I'm sure someone will beat you to the punch. Come 11-11-11, there's going to be more YouTubers clamoring to make the first Skyrim LP than teenage girls trying to get an autograph from Johnny Depp at the next Pirates of the Caribbean premiere.

It's a relatively constructive use of your time. I certainly won't stop you. And heck, considering that I've watched a few hours worth of 'Let's Play' footage from such silly games as Minecraft, it will certainly be seen.

Sure, I know the youtube user gix7 will make one (he also has a pretty huge Morrowind let′s play and a small Oblivion one) but you could make a totally different one, Gix is oki but he′s not really "good" in terms of game-play and is a tad clueless about lore and such but that′s what makes his own let′s play so charming, but you have totally different experiences and could do a more fast paced one or just any other style, you could even make one where you roleplay, I know I′d watch it, but in any-case more let′s plays = good

Aussie accents are my favourite, pretty sure i'd watch it. Good idea.

I wouldn't watch it right away because I wouldn't want to spoil the game for myself, but I'd probably watch it after a few weeks.
Whether or not I keep watching it depends completely on you. Just an FYI, the key to my heart is as much wit and humour as you can fit in, without making a mockery of the game.
