A new way to look at the Story.

What if your character isn't from Tamriel, but from Akavir/another continent? If you don't really think about it, it makes a lot of sense. They DO have a new engine, so that means it won't be exactly like Morrowind/Oblivion and it may be able to have you play as Tsaeci, Ka Po'Tun, or the other Akavirian/Nirnian races/intelligent creatures. In the Trailer it says that the Dovahkiin is the protector/defender of the dragons, so you might play as a Ka Po'Tun that has successfully defeated the Tsaeci and has began to attack Tamriel. Or, more plausible, the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Kamal, because they HAVE invaded Tamriel and even sacked Windhelm. Perhaps the Kamal successfully defeated the Tang Mo and either turned their sights to Tamriel or linked up with the Ka Po' Tun.Furthermore, they may have defeated the Tsaeci and the Kamal were helping the Ka Po' Tun conquer Tamriel. Sorry for any misspellings and Lore innacuracies/impossibilities (Tried the best I could to do some research).
Discuss if you will, flame if you like, just an idea I had.

Well with my idea you can get 3 of the known Akavirian races (4 minus the Tsaeci) and whatever races/intelligent creatures Beth wants to add in order to keep diversity high.

Only if all the current races that we can choose one for our character exist in Akavir and the like.
