V
Objective: Warrington

I finished reading the story, and I felt different, like my life had more meaning then to serve the Enclave. These people were ordinary until they stepped foot in the Fort, but the search changed them. The Search, there was something more important to it.

"If, your done reading you can hurry up, the guards will be here momentarily," said Tyrannis, butting in on me. I had

felt like I had been reading for days, but it was seconds.
I picked up my rifle, which I had laid on the desk before I had started reading. The guards had begun to bang on the door. With my new pride and self-assurance, I walked towards the door. I heard breaking of the door, and I strafed to the right. I noticed a book on Tenpenny's desk, My thoughts on The Search. I picked it up, and glanced at the cover.

Just then the door flew off its hinges. I flew around just in time to see Tyrannis flip out his blaster and fire at the guards. Apparently his ammo was short because after two shots, he threw it in its holster. I jumped in front of the doorway, with a burst of courage, and fired and fired and fired. Bodies fell and blood flew. I had withstanded many shots to the torso, and grasped the floor. I felt a Stimpak injection and Tyrannis had saved me.

"Damn, I don't know what happened, but you can't go jumping in front of many firing guards, although it did save my life," explained Tyrannis.

"Now, get up. We must escape here as quickly as possible and with no injures."

I glanced at the book, and put it in my armor's pouch.

"All right, let's get the [censored] out of here."

GOD I hate triple posting, oh well. Part one of __________ insert part number here, of Chp 5 too lazy to write more at this time.

Ding! The elevator to the lobby opened up. Security was waiting, and fired until their clips were depleted. The hotel guests were trembling and cowering, yearning to know what would happen next. Out came a grenade from the elevator, and it blew several guards' limbs off. I jumped through the shaft-ceiling door, along with Tyrannis, and cross-fired. I had unloaded three clips on the stunned guards. The hall was stained with blood when we were done.

"Go back to your business!" shouted Tyrannis.

I stepped through the bodies of the dead guards, and my eye caught something shiny. I stopped and looked down. There was a key on the head guard's neck. I picked it up, and studied its shape and such. I called to Tyrannis,

" Get over here, and help me find where this key goes to."

"All the time we were searching door to cabinet, to safe I thought,

" Is this one of Tenpenny's Keys?"

To our luck, none of the locks inside the hotel fit the key. I asked one of the still cowering residents,

" Hey do?."

"NO! Please don't hurt me!"
The man obviously thought I was a terrorist.

" No, don't worry. Are there any locks outside the hotel?"

He nodded and led me outside. We got to a door leading to a metro tunnel, and I tried the key. It opened smoothly, and I fell down the steps.

OH well, yell at me if you want, I quad posted. I changed the title for Chp 5 because I had a new idea, I'm sure you can guess it. WOW! 700 views, and this is my first story. ANd the posts are really short because I have a LOT of stuff going on. Enjoy!

" I do that too much,"

I said, picking myself up off the ground. I had to find out what the key was hiding, its secret, another secret, The Search. I spaced out, thinking about The Search. No, I can't become absorbed. I shook my head away from the thought and continued down the hall. A giant door stood in my way, but it wouldn't open. A loud alarm went off, "Jesus!" Tyrannis and me both shouted and pulled out our arms.

I looked in the window and a guard had pulled a switch, opening the door. An evil smile came across his face, and the shriek off a feral ghoul pierced the alarm.
We ran in the door and blasted them to explosions,

" There's too many! Escape into the tunnel!"

I ignored the response and kept on defending the position in the room. More and more ghouls came running, more and more I killed. " [censored]!" my gun had jammed. I put it away and brought out my .44 magnum. I fired until I was out, and I began to reload. Tyrannis was down the stairs leading to the tunnels.

"Come on! Jump!"

I turned around to see a ghoul, then ran for the exit. I grabbed the banister and began to haul ass over the rail. The ghoul caught me by the hand. With incredible strength it began to keep me dangling over. With one arm over, and my entire body flying, it sorta, kinda, hurt A LOT. Tyrannis pulled out his sniper,

" This might hurt."

I heard the bullet, and then I fell. Down, down, and down, without an arm.

Next part is the last of Chp 5, is Coming!

I also realized people are making new topics like very day now.

"This might be a tough fix,"

The first words that came to me as I regained consciousness.

" He took a bad fall, he won't be moving for a while," came the voice again.

" Well how long can we stay here?"

this time, Tyrannis's voice.

"Depends. See what Phillips says. He pretty pissed so don't expect a good answer to a smoothskin."

" Understood."

I felt slight pressure then fell asleep, not knowing where I was.

Story continued by Tyrannis's point of view

What an idiot, I thought. You can't jump over a ledge and expect to live. I told to jump, but not over the railing. Masters seem like a good man, even though he's a ghoul. I wandered endlessly through the tunnels of Warrington, inside the corridors, and the metro tunnels. I turned around the corner and bumped into the ghoul I remember standing outside Tenpenny's.

"What the [censored] do you smoothskin want? I've had enough trouble with that boy falling off the railing, and the bastards in Tenpenny's."

"It's about the boy, Mr. Phillips. My leader gave me orders to protect him. I was abandoned by my squadron leader and encountered trouble on my way to find him."

"If you promise not to screw around with us, he can stay until he gets better."

Story resumes with main character

It had been 3 days now, and I still hadn't completely healed. I found myself reading My Thoughts on The Search, and I flipped the page. Notes after the Search:

Entry: April 20, 2247

Today I found out that Jeff is dead. When they came back, they told me they could not find the armor, and Tara was killed. When I asked about Crowley, they told me he was taken from them. I sighed, and shook my head at them,

"I don't have any more mercs to go investigate the ghoul pen, and I don't want to lose more. I'll let the Enclave deal with that."

Pause

So the power armored soldiers that were there was the Enclave? The mercs killed Enclave? Damn you Tenpenny.

Resume

The three that were left nodded. I noticed that Ted had somewhat of a burn on his arm. Plasma, the only word that came to mind. If he gets The Sickness he will die. The Sickness, another great mystery about the Enclave. I know they're hiding something from me, and I will try to figure it out as best as my abilities let me.
End Entry.

The next page said afterword, but I didn't have time to read it. Masters, the friendly ghoul came in.

" Kid, we finally got in. A nice man came and helped us get into the Tower. Phillips opted to kill the humans, but the man helped them settle their differences. The man is gone now, but get your things, we're moving in."

No, Tenpenny's Tower houses too many mysteries, on the Search, the Sickness. I could not go. He turned around and I pulled out my magnum. One shot was all I needed to drop him. Tyrannis bolted in,

"What happened, who shot?"

I pointed to the ground without a word, and Tyrannis looked.

" Dammit, why did you do it? He was the nice one. I know you can't live in the Tower, but he was our ticket to freedom. This also means we'll have to kill Roy and his followers right?"

I nodded solemnly. He sighed,

" Alright lets go."

I reloaded my pistol. It hadn't any bullets.

Ciff-hanger, the next two chapters will have two parts to them. Literally like Chp6 part 1 and Part 2

I waited till Tyrannis left the room.

" Good job, now we have to kill Roy, and get the hell outta here."
These were the words I said to Masters as he got up off the ground.

" Ok, but there could have been another way to convince him," came his reply.

" What's done is done, nothing more. Tyrannis can't see you though; otherwise he'll give me a speech about pretending and all that [censored]. Here's a stealth boy, don't get caught."

With these words, I holstered my magnum and ran out the door. Tyrannis was keeping watch and I froze for a minute but all he said was,

" No time to waste." I

could feel Masters behind me, glad Tyrannis didn't notice him. I followed him down the hall, and looking around corners, but Phillips was nowhere we checked. It was until we approached the tunnels to the Wasteland that we saw Phillips looking straight at us.

"You killed my friend and now I have no problem killing yours."

He swiftly pulled out his .32 and shot, twice. Tyrannis fell to the ground, shot in each leg.

" Goddamit Phillips, we could have sorted this out!"

" Don't give me [censored] boy. I let you stay here for 4 days and you kill one of my followers? I have every right."

He raised his arm; this time aiming at the head, and slowly moved his finger around the trigger. Too early, Masters had shot, right in Roy's shoulder, exploding the collarbone.

" Gahh, What the [censored], your alive?"

" Go to hell," said Masters, revealing himself. He shot again but Phillips rolled out of the way.

" If I die, then so do you!" he shouted.

He stood up and pulled out a grenade. As he was running towards Masters, I shot till I was out, hitting him twice in the arm, and three times in his torso. When he was close enough, Masters fired one last time at Phillips, and his leg crumpled beneath him. With one last breath, Roy shoved the grenade in Masters mouth. I turned my head and waited for the explosion. It came, and warm blood flew onto my face, along with a terrible scream. I refused to look back, and helped up Tyrannis.

" Wh wh wh why didn't you tell m m m me he was still alive," stuttered Tyrannis, struggling with his wounds.

I picked him up, and got out of the tunnel doors. The sun was hot and blinding, I hadn't seen light for a while. I didn't know what I'd do with Tyrannis, he was on the critical scale of dying. I looked to the east, and? yes! A Vertibird! I hobbled over as fast as I could, dragging Tyrannis along. I had just enough energy to make it to the plane.

" Help, help! Wounded." I cried with exasperation. I let the soldiers help me onto the plane,

" Make sure he gets out okay,"

" Sir, this happens to be a she, one of the generals of the Enclave," said one of the soldiers. " we have been looking for her since her entire squadron was killed by a Deathclaw."

My mind blowing to bits, I sat on the bench of the hold, and saw them roll Tyrannis on a gurney onto the plane. With her helmet, I finally knew who she was. She was even kind of pretty, a pretty general. I stared out in space with new knowledge, and The Search, The Sickness, and on Tyrannis.

" Next stop, Raven Rock," said the pilot.
The plane lifted into the air.

I was listening to Stacy's mom when I wrote this, and decided to make Tyrannis a chic. Anyone want to take a guess on her real name? HMMMM, you know you want too. By the way, this isn't the end of Chp 6 part 1. There seperate posts.
