NPCs jumping?

Is there a way to make NPCs jump? When you are running away from a powerful enemy you can just jump on top of a rock or log and you are safe. Is there any way to script NPCs to jump when following a player? Also, is there anyway to have NPCs jump around strategically in combat? It just has always seemed that the lack of NPCs jumping has always been a major flaw of Morrowind's combat and NPC interaction. Is there any way to fix this?

check out the guide "morrowind scripting for dummies" pages 85 and 86. from what i understand, trubunal added get/force/clear sneak/run/jump/movejump.

you'd use the "get" on the players and force (then clear) on the NPCs.

I'd try ModAcrobatics and ForceMoveJump on the NPC, depending on PC distance and relative height from NPC, but it is not easy to replace AI.
