TES V Ideas and Suggestions #154

I'd like to see some "speech checks" that include various attributes and skills - ala KOTOR II, Fallout 3 and other similar games.

Such as perhaps Intelligence playing more of a role than simply magicka pool - it could also help you see when someone is lying. Or perhaps if there's a detective type guild and you're investigating the scene of the crime, you examine a corpse and if your BLADE skill is high enough you can make an observation such as "this man wasn't killed by an arrow. The wound matches what we'd expect to see from a dagger."

Oooh that actually sounds really cool.

Like: "My pet rats are sick, and I can't find a cure, can you help a poor old man?"

Possible Responses
I'll see if I can get a cure.
I can make a cure for them. (because you have a high enough alchemy skill)
No, sorry.
Why not just end their misery?
They look fine, don't worry about it. (because you have a high enough speechcraft)

Because that'd be great, but since they did it in Fallout 3, I think you could expect it from Bethesda.
