I actually worked pretty hard and came up with the my characters name Ulfgar. I thought I had made this name up and I was really proud of it. But after I got the Solsthiem exspansion I found Ulfgar the Unending and I was like crap they stole my name!

There is a unit in Age of Mythology called: Ulfsark... you could use that... Ulfgar the Ulfsark. Eh, maybe not.

I try to choose fitting names based on race and character.

My Dunmer Scoundrel was named Azarel Llendos,

and I named my Breton Ranger Jinn Alcras (his father's name was Alric Alcras, and he's buried in Skingrad if you have cliffworms chapel mod)

I also had a Nord named Auron Thunder-Fist

By the way guys...where can I find a good name generator for Tes... I'm slowly building my character for Skyrim, any suggestion?

Second question , concerning class this time : I want my character to mainly use rogues skills (marksman, light or medium armor, sneak) combines with some Magic skills... any pre-made class for this?? maybe with hunter.. but I think it tend to be more magic than rogue.. I want something like .. 2/3 rogue for 1/3 mage.. any suggestion?

thks!! :)

I think Night Blade is one of the stealth/magic classes, and witchhunter has a combination of marksman and some offensive magic skills. Though it might just be better to make your own class to get the skills you want.

Lithtekano Niheledan, named after his great, great, great grand father.

Oh and yes, he's Dunmer.

Names are hard to make up for me. I usually just use my name. But recently I thought of a great name for a stealth based Argonian; Never-There

Mine will be a Nord archer who lives strictly in the wild. To complement, his name will be Ivar, which literally means "Archer" in Old Norse.

In general, I try to make my character's names seem appropriate for their race. At least in the Elder Scrolls, when playing other RPGs, since I may not be familar with their setting and what sorts of names different races use, so I just go with something that seems to sound good, or that a similar race might use in another setting, but I'm familiar enough with the Elder Scrolls races' naming conventions to come up with names that I think at least sound authentic, although it isn't always easy since I don't want to end up making a character whose name is shared by an NPC in the game. Some may say character names aren't that important, but myself, I just wouldn't be able to take a Dunmer called "Bob" seriously.

I usually use last names for orcs as the whole "gro/gra" prefix before the surname seems to be the most distinctive aspect of orc names in the Elder Scrolls, otherwise its generally not relevant since my characters are usually Khajiit, Argonians or orcs, and Khajiit and Argonians usually don't seem to have last names.

As for Skyrim, I really don't know what name I'll use, since I don't know what character I'll play. I don't generally plan out characters for RPGs I haven't played yet, usually, what character I'll play is something I think up on the spot, or think about soon before starting. I can only really choode my name once I've chosen the six and race of my character.

Gurkog
Mulgrok
Muldrek
Gorbash
Grokthar
Guldrak
Dugbosh
etc....

Me like Orcs and some of the names are probably from WoW without me realizing it.

I always use the same name: Malivio Von Draxis. If I need something shorter, it generally just goes to Draxis

I typically don't really care about the naming logic of the TES universe

Though most of the names I come up with typically match Breton names (which is what I typically play anyway).

If I'm not playing a Breton however, the name doesn't typically match up to the TES naming logic.

Always go by the race I'm playing. Example: Rolf the Ham-Fisted, my Nord who can't swing an ax to save his life.
