The 2nd one is better. Still need to see the 'perfect' walkthrough, by some fan that doesn't tear the game to shreds and whine about every little problem.

I acctually like his Morrowind LP better, but he does a good job with Oblivion aswell.

Cynical little beotches should have their mics taken away until such time as they can learn to really be humorous. Plus that sound quality was bad.

Maybe I need to pay extra attention while reading some of the comments here but there's a few I can't tell if it's directed at my videos or MoogleFTW's. Anyways, I'll just pretend that it's all directed at me. "If the shoe fits, wear it" they say.

I personally don't enjoy MoogleFTW's videos too much but that's mainly due to the poor presentation; the audio quality/balance to be precise. He's got a strong number of subscribers so he must be doing something right. There are a lot of Morrowind and Oblivion LPs, so I don't pretend that "my way" is the only way (especially since I haven't been doing this for very long). To each his own.

By the way, Panda Warrior (and Dragatus), I appreciate you spreading the word around about my videos. I know there's a couple of folks that already did that with the Morrowind videos but it's an awesome feeling knowing that people enjoy your stuff enough to suggest/recommend it to others.

Yes, I do take notes. Whenever I apply them later on is a different matter but I'm curious nonetheless. Also, I don't know about you, but I believe that there's a distinction between a walkthrough and a lets play, the former being more informative about how to beat the game.


I don't recall making jokes to begin with but... um... ok. A few mentioned that they were watching my videos simply because it was like watching a train-wreck.

I can only shrug and move on.

Yours and Moog's I could actually sit through. And I agree, there's a difference between a walkthrough and a Let's Play -- so far I'm not impressed with other LPs I've seen for other games. Just more snark, Moog's has been the only one I've seen that I actually found witty (and I think some of that was because he reminded me of Simon Pegg).

Just don't stop making MW videos, Gix! I'm a fan of them (the Oblivion vids are also cool).

The only complaint I could think of is that they're a biiit too slow-pacing. Also, you're missing a bit of Morrowind exploration. As I commented in a vid, you're still missing the Redoran and Telvanni zones...the most cool and exotic ones of all the game (especially the Telvanni one). But feel free to take your time and enjoy the magic of this game as much as we all Morrowinders enjoyed it in it's time.

Apart from that, that's quite close to the perfect LP, in my opinion.

he is one of my fav let player i rewatch this lp about 3 times lol but he only does the main quest i like it when they do other quests

He does the Shivering Isles main quest too... which is even better!

Wow, I don't think I've ever just gotten so mad at watching something in my life. What an irritating kid.

I can vouch for Gix as well, quality stuff. His Morrowind LP is special in that it's a blind LP and he has a little webcam in the lower right corner, so you can watch he's reactions to what the game throws at him.

This is not to say his Oblivion LP is less interesting, during road travel he talks about what he's gonna do when he gets where he needs to go, and comments on observations along the way. So there's never really a dull moment. He also created one of the harder characters to play with, and set himself some roleplaying rules.
