ReMAKE Fallout 1 & 2

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:46 am

Well, if they re-released the games with a graphics overhaul, I'd give them a spin, but it's not something I'd hold my breath over. I say leave the originals as they are.

First of all, I'm sure Bethesda has said they won't remake games, ever. Second, Fallout 1 and 2 were not done by them. Third, grafix maek gaems gud hurr. If they were remade with the same isometric view and everything but the graphics was unchanged, sure, I'd play them. If it was a complete remake, it'd be crap. Automatically.

I glad there is room for argument.

... if my skills prove equal to the task, I hope someday to prove you wrong on those last two sentences.

Well he is right, a total remake would be just more dumbing down and neutering so it could appeal to the masses of console gamers. That and well it's his opinion, it'd be impressive to see how your skills could prove that wrong, heh.

No, No, and No. Don't mess with 2 of the best games of all time.

(nothing constructive to say)

Voted 'No' after reading this:

Since there was a FallOut 3, I assumed (correctly) that there was a 1 & 2. Turns out they had Horrid graphics and look like some spin-off of Diablo or the like. But the pvssyr on these boards suggests that these games are actually "Better" scripting wise - more storyline and better missions, etc. And it seems people are still playing both 1 & 2 - if the boards are any indication.

Too bad.

I loved the original games, but I'd play remakes using F3 tech. I would absolutely love to be able to blow away the Children of the Cathedral and the Hubologists in 3D and VATS. Especially the Hubologists.. :D
