I'm having a hard time keeping the damage resistance with the damage inflicted upon myself. I had said that to say this: Are there any good stores or vendors that sell Armor and or Clothing? I really needed to upgrade.

There are no merchants that solely sell armor, but most sell a few varieties. If your armor is rare then it is likely that you will just have to pay to get it repaired. Alternatively, of your repair skill is 90 (?) then you can get jury-rigging perk (debatably best perk).

Also, what armor are you using?

Gun Runners SELL the best armor u can buy far as i know but there is better armor to be found.

gun runners sell combat armor mark2, which is probably the highest dt you can get without power armor training. And i believe the brotherhood sells t45-d if you join them.

The Gun Runners (capitalised) are an organization of gun merchants, their main shop is outside Freeside, manned by a Protectron behind a booth, though there is also a GR merchant at the 188 Trading Post (where you find Veronica).

I personally hate the look of the combat armor Mark2 though. So ugly and bulky. I'd say just wait it out a bit for real power armor if you really want the DT.

He can also just take the normal comb at armor. I also hate the combat armor but love the helmet.
