Ysgramor, Dragon of the North

Post » Tue May 22, 2012 10:37 am

And Ysgramor, on his death bed, said "Not even death can hold me. I shall return, my soul in Sovngarde, but my heart in all the heroes of the Nords". Ivar grew anxious at this news. "But master, how shall we know if these heroes are your successors? How shall we find them worthy?" Ysgramor said "They shall climb beyond your city, to the pinnacle of the Throat of the World. They shall wear a crown of thunder on their heads. They shall rule as kings, and be named after me." And Ivar wrote the words of greeting, and cut off Ysgramor's uneccesary syllables. Such did Ysgramor become Ysmir.

And then, did one of them say, "So, there will be so many to chose from."

Where does Pelinal come in?

http://www.imperial-library.info/content/merethic-era

An immortal hero, warrior, sorceror, and king variously known as Pelinal Whitestrake, Harrald Hairy Breeks, Ysmir, Hans the Fox, etc., wanders Tamriel, gathering armies, conquering lands, ruling, then abandoning his kingdoms to wander again.

Zurin Arctus also. And possibly Dragonborn.

When I was playing through the Stormcloak storyline, I was really hoping I would, at some point, have the opportunity to betray Ulfric, steal his crown from him, and in doing so mantle the enatiomorph.

Unless that's backwards, and it would be Ulfric betraying and murdering me that would be more similar...
