I've got a possible build for a warrior/mage build I would like some comment on. It's important to note that I'm using both GCD and BTB.
Sign: The Steed
I'm using this sign because of the 100pts Feather the BTB version gives, which I hope will allow my Altmer to compensate for a large lack of strength and let them wear some of the heavier armours in the game. Extra speed isn't bad either.
Major:
Alteration
Mysticism
Spear/Blunt/Long Sword
Heavy Armour
Block/Illusion/Speech
The magics I want to make the use of are mostly utility rather than straight up damage, which will allow my character to be more mobile. Mysticism will probably see use for Absorb Fatigue/Agility. The first weapon I considered is Spear, which will give some added endurance, however I plan my character to be a bit on the noble/snoddy side at first, and Staves/Maces and Swords might fit that bill better than Spear.
The fifth skill is up in the air. If I go for Blunt or Sword the Block would complement them well. Illusion would provide a wealth of useful effects but I always feel that was more designed for stealthly mages, and Speech would fit my character's aristocractic background.
Minor:
Enchant
Armourer
Destruction
Conjuration
--/--/--
Since I'm using BTB settings, Enchant feel worth taking so I can recharge any item I use. Armourer is a given for any character using Heavy Armour. Destruction is for ranged attacks. Conjuration will most likely see use for Bound Weapons, and maybe the odd summon. The last Minor is up in the air. One of the potential major skills I don't use will likely end up taking that slot.

That's the gist of it. I'm open to any suggestions or comments anyone might have.
