I created an account here in hopes I'd find a solution to the bug associated with turning in steel ingots to Everett and I immediately saw the sticky. I went to my 360 memory management screen, deleted Point Lookout, and reloaded my save game. Upon loading, I was confronted with the message that some items could be missing, obviously due to Point Lookout being removed, but as I haven't made it that far yet, I went ahead and loaded my save game. I immediately ran to Everett and found the bug to still be present. To be clear, attempting to interact with Everett only results in his moving his mouth once, very quickly and nothing else. Okay, I thought, the sticky did say to remove then re-install and I skipped the second point, I guess. So I popped disc 2 of the GOTYE back in and installed only Point Lookout. I rebooted my console and loaded my save game once again. Again I ran directly to Everett and again I encountered the same bug. I have not been able to find anything more about fixing this in the forums so I'd just like to ask if anyone has any suggestions.
Side note: My play through the normal Fallout 3 was almost crash free but I found The Pitt to be very unstable. I lost an autosave due to corruption and had to reboot my console several times during my completion of the content.
Edit #1: Just wanted to mention I just tried clearing my cache per the instructions in one of the stickies. When I walked into the abandoned area where Everett usually hangs out, I saw him walking to lean on the wall or stand and smoke but instead he walked out into the steelyard itself. I followed him through the door and tried interacting with him. The same thing happened with the mouth but this time the audio clip played, "You ain't so good, are ya'?" He then walked back inside the abandoned area. I went it, tried to interact again and this time he said nothing (the mouth thing still occurred though).
