Will daedric prince Peryite have a bigger part in Skyrim?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:38 pm

I remember Peryite in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs6sTjSIs3A. I don't think this prince had a decent part in Oblivion at all. What else is known about Peryite?

Peryite is the commander of the lowest deziens of oblivion, therefore having a less interesting role than the other princes. I dont think he will appear more. Hircine is likley to have the most influence, as he did in Solstiem, and if you are to visit a realm, it will likely be his.

While being at the bottom of the Daedric totem pole certainly indicates a very limited level of involvement in just about anything, there's certainly something to be said for the underdog making a big splash in some way.

However, I wouldn't put much stock in Peryite's appearance, as it is nothing more than a chosen form. He's a Daedric Prince. If it wouldn't violate copyright laws, he could turn into a fifty-foot Superman at will. Wouldn't make him the actual Man of Steel, or indicate any involvement in any Superman storylines.

Out of all of the daedric princes I think peryite is the one I find least interesting. I'd rather a sojourn into the realm of Molag Bol or perhaps Boethia.

I want to go to Malacath's, so I can ask him whether he IS Trinimac, or just ate him.

Periyte was the form of a dragon in Oblivion right? Perhaps he will have a slightly larger role in Skyrim, but probably not. I agree with the Hiricine idea though. The nords of Skyrim ruled Solstheim, and Hiricine had a big part in the expansion Bloodmoon. He seems to be favored by nords more than any other race.

It was Boethiah who ate Trinimac. So Malacath is Trinimac or at least what's left of him.

Supposedly eatin, corrupted,....and I guess pooped out...and all of his followers the Orsimer were corrupted as well turning them into orcs, or atleast that's the theory.

Ah yes, that's right. My bad.

Although there is the belief that Trinimac lives, as a separate entity, struggling to break free.

Hircine will probably have a big part in the game. Peryite is probably the most mundane Daedric prince in the series.

I hope he does. I'm sick and tired of all the attention made to Azura, and Sheogorath, and Hircine.

I'm guessing they wouldn't give him a bigger role in this game. It'd be like, "okay, this game is about Dragons, and also this god that isn't really a dragon but likes to look like one." It'd muddle the focus a bit.

(Isn't it sad, Peryite? Especially after the last game. "So now we're going to give the main antagonist role to the Daedric Prince of order. Nope, sorry, not you. It's... Jyggalag." )
