OK this might sound stupid but I came up with a backstory for my neutral character and this is just an overveiw of it. So when he lived in the vault my character was just a normal dude. His Dad escaped, he followed him out.
After wandering the wasteland looking for his Father, he saw the horrors of the waste, and the good people who tried to rid those things. He didn't have a side that he chose. But when he was
scavenging a building he came across a book about the Japanese samurais and how great of warriors they were and how they didn't take sides. So he started his quest for The Legendary Shocksword.
While on his quest he came across a crashed spaceship. He went there and got svcked up into the mothership. While he was up there he saw the cryo chambers, and inside of one of them was a real samurai.
He woke him up, And the samurai only spoke japanese, so he couldn't understand his language. While on the mothership that samurai showed him more and more about the way of the samurai. Then when they were battling for control of the ship, My character watched his master get shot by an alien in the. At that moment, he made a promise to avenge his master's death. The samurai only had seconds left and told him to take the armor, as he was a true samurai now. After he escaped the mothership, he started up his quest for the Shocksword, which he found not too long afterwards.
So that's my first actual backstory for a character of mine.

Is that actually the fanfic or is it an overview?
