vault 101 inhabitants..

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 8:34 am

in one of my games, ive completed practically everything so ive started scouring the wasteland, leaving no stone unturned as such. wasnt far outside megaton & a green tick came on my radar, at this point of the game, when this happens, its quite intriguing to say the least lol excitement is probably a better word aha anyway it was a girl from vault 101, i cant exactly remember her name but she was saying she was out trading & getting supplies & she mentioned amata. she said she had to go so she went, i followed her back to the vault out of interest to see if could get back in again lol didnt happen, the character disappeared when she went throught the door into the tunnel leading to the vault door. ive went back to this area & other areas surrounding megaton to see if i could meet this person again & see if there were any new dialogue choices but i havnt seen anyone. im just wondering has anyone else encountered this? are there anymore inhabitants of vault 101 that come out into the wasteland apart from butch??

Yes, this is one of the random encounters in the game. It was Susie Mack that you met. You can't go back into the Vault after the "Trouble on the Homefront" quest no matter what. I came across this encounter as-well. None of the other Vault 101 residents apart from you, James, Butch, or Susie Mack are seen outside to my knowledge.

susie mack, thats the one! couldnt remember her name there. aye i was thinking that, those are the only 3 that i have seen through the game as well. it would add so much to the game though if further vault 101 residents appeared & new quests related to them were available, never happen now though :(

There is another random encounter where you find Amata and some Enclave soldiers in the Wasteland.

I think Amata only turns up if you sabotage the Vault. She is being interrogated by Enclave soldiers, and then they murder her.

And yet we still have people who view the Enclave as 'Good'

Doesn't make sense to me. But every time we get a good discussion going on the pluses and minuses on the Enclave, the moderators lock it. So let's stick with the subject at hand.

Indeed you're right. Actually T-51b. But not Enclave. I thought it was Enclave because I once typed Fallout Enclave into Google, and that picture was one of the image results. http://www.google.ae/images?hl=en&safe=off&client=safari&rls=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=kH6cTOykGMqNOKW-9JsM&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=6&ved=0CEcQsAQwBQ&biw=1440&bih=802&q=Fallout%20Enclave&tbs=isch:1. Disregard my previous post. :P

Not that there's anything wrong with killing Enclave and taking their armor :D

Actually the T-51b Power Armor was the pinnacle of Power Armor just before the Great War. The BoS use it because they descend directly from members of the USAF who abandoned their posts roughly a week before the War.

@Oddish- I know right? Some people take this stuff to seriously

I also found a dead tunnel snake at a power station near Raven rock. I think it was Freddie Mack
