Which DLC?

Post » Sat May 26, 2012 1:06 am

I have Honest Hearts which was pretty fun, i got my melee weapon training in there, I also got the couriers stash which is very helpful at the start, but i would like to know which DLC I should get next that would be good with melee weapons or guns and i can get some money off of

Thanks from The Rager

Old World Blues has a lot of items you can sell. They even have a melee EMP Axe that does damage to robots, which you will need! I wouldn't advise using melee on robo-scorpions though, since they explode with a pulse wave, which can hurt you. It also gives you nice player housing, oh and it has the best stealth suit in the game. ;)

I don't recommend Old World Blues, because it can get somewhat tedious. I'd say it's the worst out of the three you don't have yet.

-I recommend Lonesome Road if you want to sum up the Courier's back-story in an awesome environment and an epic battle.
-I recommend Dead Money if you want a real challenge survival DLC revolving around an awesome story.

Lonesome Road is supposed to sum up Fallout New Vegas, so I might recommend getting Dead Money first. If it's currency that you're after, Dead Money is the one to get. Definitely. (I won't spoil anything). There are some nice guns in Dead Money such as the BAR and Police Pistol, although the melee weapons are fairly weak (Cosmic Knife and Knife Spear). While, Lonesome Road has Old Glory (insanely good), Bowie Knives + their unique variant Blood Nap in the way of melee weapons. In the way of guns, there's the SMMG which is basically a weak minigun, along with a few others that are not at the top of my head ATM.

Overall Dead Money is more rewarding in the way of straight up currency. BY FAR. Lonesome Road is more rewarding in the way of the overall Fallout New Vegas story, and in the way of weapons+environment.

Well, he/she was asking about making money =p

But yea, I also highly recommend Lonesome Road, since it's my favorite DLC, period! :D
