Can you go back and get a save game file

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if I can go back and get a prior save game file and make it my current file so I can try again on a part of the game I messed up on?

Thanks, G

You mean re-load a previous saved game? If you save often, yes of course you can go back and load a prior save game. When you save over it, then it becomes your current save. Is that what you mean?

No because I need to go back further than that. Like 2 hours or so. I'm talking about going in the Fallout.ini files or wherever the files are stored, and manipulating those older files.

Here's what I found on the Fallout Nexus - http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44763. However, I recommend just save often and keep your saved games. I usually have over 300 saved game files per play through (if not more). ;)
