Also, I check your blog periodically for updates, and you should do more stuff! What does this mean? Does this mean that death threats will be in order if more frequent updates don't occur? It's a distinct possibility. Either way, I'm gonna need some new material on my desk by next Thursday.

But really, this is very good. We need more cartography as beautifully done as this.

I cried a bit when I saw that.

Amazing job. I couldn't have done that given all the time in the world :P

Do you plan on doing any more like that?

This semester was very stressful, and I didn't produce as much work that I'd like to show off as I'd have liked. I hope to post stuff more often this summer, but between a job and various personal obligations I don't know how often that will be. It feels nice to know someone is reading :)

I'd like to do more, but that's not really a plan. The technique doesn't work all that well for huge areas (so a map of all Tamriel is out of the question). Got any suggestions for what you'd like to see?

It's a composite of various satellite imagery, primarily from Google Earth. Color corrected, some blending modes applied, painted over where needed.

Thanks for all the kind words :)
