Somewhat off-topic but incredibly nice if you can help

Does anyone know enough about Firefox Search plugins to make the above work? That's all you need to do a basic search at TESNexus, with the highlighted stuff in the middle being the actual search term.

I've tried a couple of times, but this xml stuff confuses me deeply.

I got some help on another forum and managed a very basic TESNexus search plugin.

http://www.4shared.com/document/Sp6T3sbQ/tesnexus1.html

Drop it in the searchplugins directory and you can do a simple search, with standard options on TESNexus. The only filter at the moment is that it searches "All Oblivion files".

It's useful for using the "highlight text, right-click and open a search in a new tab" trick while working on the gamesas forums.

are there some other hoops I have to jump thru to get it to work? or do I just need to restart firefox? I have it in the designated folder, but... don't see any options to use it.

Restarting firefox should work (assuming you have the search bar active at all), but I've since found out that there's a better option: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3682

Install that add-on, and then you can right-click the search box in TESNexus or pretty much any other page and choose the "Add to search bar" option.

It does in three seconds what I spent the last two days trying to figure out.
