How will you get the Game Informer article information?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 2:01 am

As many to all know that the next Game Informer will contain a 12 page exposition of Skyrim in its pages. I was wondering how you will get this info. I know Game Informer isn't as widely sold on the international market as it is in the United States, but many still want the info regardless. I want to see how many of my fellow forum users get GI subscriptions so that they may post reviews and highlights (not scans) in the forum. As it is implausible to think that 100% of the users get subscriptions how many will have to buy it on the stands, or will just skip buying it all together. I really don't need your history with the magazine, just about the next issue and the big Skyrim story. As to why I feel this deserves its own topic, if you think about it depending on the location some will get there magazine hours before others, and with that said I was wondering how many active forum members would be able to post the article review in that time frame. Really cause when it comes to something of the importance of a new Elder Scrolls game every hour of not receiving the next bit of info can feel depressing. Just thinking that some people already know what we are agonizingly waiting for is somewhat of a depressing thought. So the sooner the better, and the more people with a subscription the more likely we will receive quick and honest information.

Presumably when 60 people spoil all of the content in their thread titles in the first five minutes, while ignoring the rules against it.

well, the info is allowed to be discussed on here, as long as the magazine's content isnt copied exactly or whatever, right?

...i guess i'll read about it on the forum, then.

Buy a copy of Game Informer, read the article, then complain about stuff I don't like on the forums like everyone else.

Yeah, someone will sticky the details in full, most likely. For the actual pics, we'll just go to another website.

This.

I am not american, so I have no access to GI anyway. I'll check their website, but I don't think there will be much exclusive content.

Depends, if my sisters old subscription is still going(Got the latest issue, but It has nothing interesting in it.) If not, I will just read it in Gamestop. Maybe buy it if they have a problem with me reading it there.

How very odd.

I simply don't have the money to buy any magazines, so I'll just look it up on the internet.

Not being in the US I don't see how I could get my hands on a physical copy of GI
Do GI have an online edition? If so will it have all the content of the paper version? Will I have to subscribe to the online versions?
Thanks for any help you have guys. I know all the info will be re-worded and posted all over the intenet but as the 12 pages have just been increased to 14 pages I'd really want to see the actual pages you know?
I understand that all the info will eventually appear in European mags but who know when that'll be.

The magazine will find itself on the internet 5 minutes after release. Usually people will basically explain everything there is in it.

If you at least have access to a GameStop store, you can purchase the digital version. It's $15 for one year, and it gets delivered to your email.

There will be a lot of info on GI's website. Not as much as in the mag, but there will still be quite a bit. They'll reveal the cover art on their site before the mag even comes out and a hub with some screens and articles will be put up about a week or so after the mag hits the shelves...

I'll either buy it off the stands or troll the web until I find a transcript, because we all know it's going to end up online. ;)
