Hello all and well met.

I have decided to start playing this beautiful series but I have encountered a rather strange problem.

My machine is more than capable to play this game in all its gloriousness (it's still amazing even after 5 years since its release) but I can't do it full screen.

My machine is W7 67bit, i5, 8GB Vengeance and Ati 6950 2GB. What happens is this: when the game is on full screen mode the graphics don't seem to work as intended. There's amazing flickering, bad resolution and all effects seem to be switched off.

Now, when I use windowed mode the game sparks up and looks amazing again, with very high detail, 8x antiliasing, etc.

I can't find any google entry for this. Can someone please offer me some insight?
