Item Stack Counts

I've been looking for a bit... Is there a command/function that allows one to determine the count of an object on the ground? As an example, you can drop ammo in the form of a clip that holds X amount of bullets. Assuming I have its reference, how do I determine the count?

I'm not sure if it's in NVSE but in FOSE there is an undocumented command GetRefCount that does that.

Awesome! That's it. Thanks so much. I'm building a mod similar to the current Auto Loot except that it picks items up off the ground (bottles, cans, etc.). I'm pairing it with another custom perk (took the Improved Pack rat and tweaked it to ten ranks, making it ultimately apply to items 10 pounds or less and reducing them to 25% of their previous weight value). This helps tremendously. Still wondering if I should publish them as the source was heavily drawn from other users' mods.
