Anyway, there is absolutely no chance in hell that Skyrim will even come close to breaking any record, aside from perhaps being the best selling Elder Scrolls game.
A little perspective on the matter: Call of Duty: Black Ops sold 5.6 million copies in 24 hours. Oblivion sold 3 million units in its first 8 months. It would be highly irrational to think Skyrim has any chance to come even somewhat close to those numbers... as irrational as blaming Obama for the economy
. Yes, the argument can be made that the Fallout games sold a lot better then Oblivion did and that they were basically professional mods for Oblivion... but they appealed to a far larger crowd then The Elder Scrolls does. So to be totally honest, I don't see Skyrim out selling Fallout 3... baring one hell of a marketing push by Bethesda.
