PC doesn't even recognise the disc.

Ok I've played his game before on the same computer, same disc, same everything really. Got a beast of a computer so there's no problem when it comes to performance, it's the disc, it's as if it's been wiped clean because all I get in My Computer is a DVD icon. My computers played it before so it's not that. I'm no noob to computers so I updated everything, disc drive included. Anyone know how to get it to work or any fix thats around to jumpstart the disc?

Welcome to the forums.

A quick process of elimination:

1. Right-click on the DVD icon and check the device status under the hardware tab.
2. Other game discs are read by the drive?
3. Can you access another computer and see if it will read the game disc?
