So the Skyrim teaser trailer was epic! How many of you guys would actualy buy it, if they came out with the song as a ringtone?

Actually they already technically "released" it. Nick put it without voice over at the end of the latest podcast, http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/12/16/the-bethesda-podcast-episode-6-enter-the-dragon/ So if you have a audio editing program like http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ you can open the podcast file and create your own ringtone to use on your phone.

(edit) If you are not sure how to use such programs just let me know when you want the ringtone to start and when you want it to end in a PM and I'll do it for you.

Probably not. My phone is usually on vibrate anyway.

I didn't think it was epic. It was just some dragon made out of rocks coming off of the side of the wall. And there are plenty of other CGI flicks with far better graphics and animation any how. Just my opinion. So no, I definitely wouldn't use it as a ringtone.

Ringtone... My telephones have normal ring tones. Beeping and ringing and that stuff. Like... Telephones. My cellphone is on vibrate almost always, if not turned off, because I honestly almost only use it for playing Tetris when I'm bored.

No, I would not get a TES ringtone. I might use the soundtrack for other things, such as background music for P&P roleplaying, though, if it's good.

a while ago i posted this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVtPj2Qx2FM

its the edited version of the podcast with a soundcloud download link included... so go for it!

EDIT: if you'd like a shorter version of the song its quite easy, open it via itunes, right click on the song and "Get Info", then go to options and you'll see "Start Time / Stop Time" just input the part of the song you want, click ok ... then go to "Advanced" and "Create MP3 version", it should take a couple of seconds .. and done.
Now be sure to remove the start/stop time in the original one :)

Cheers

No, I would not buy this or anything else as a ringtone, ever.

If I want my phone to ring, then I'll have a normal telephone ring. However, I don't like my phone to disrupt what I or anyone else is doing, so I always have it set to vibrate.
