Vivec lay with Molag Bal for eighty days and eight, though headless. In that time, the Prince placed the warrior-poet's feet back and filled them with the blood of Daedra. In this way Vivec's giant-form remained forever harmless to good earth. The Pomegranate Banquet brought many spirits back from the dead so that the sons and daughters of the union had much to eat besides fruit.

So, the meaning of Molag Bal having Vivec's head: I take it to simply mean that Vivec was really dang infatuated with Molag Bal. Or that Molag Bal dominated Vivec's mind/thoughts somehow.

After all, when you read all the relevant sermons together, it seems (in my opinion) that Molag Bal was just struttin his stuff, dressed in bling and whatever, and Vivec was all like "Dude, how beautiful you are that you do not join us. You and me, measure spears, now!" By which I mean they wanted to bite spears. By which I mean I imagine Vivec tattooing MUATRA on his spear. By which I mean that my interpretation tends towards the crude and reductionist.

I'd say that gay porm in and of itself is mystical and mysterious and has magic powers.
