You know soul trap is pretty screwed up your taking the soul of a living being buting it in a gem just so you can use it up enchantining?recharging somthing, which sounds extremly painful

Didn't archmage Traven, or whatever his name was, die? If so then the Mages guild might not oppose Necromancy anymore. If thats the case, I'm not sure if it should be its own skill, or just have it's own spells within Conjuration or something. But it would be cool to kill somebody, then depending on their level, and attributes and skills, they would turn into a Skeleton with those feats. Maybe once your powerful enough you could cast a spell on a body, and it would split their soul and their corpse, then you would get a ghost or wraith, and a skeleton or zombie. Then another high level spell would just be area effect, gather like 3 or 4 corpses in one area, and resurrect your army!.. I think it would be worth it, and not too hard for Beth to add in, if they wished so.

In TES, almost all Necro spells could be attributed to Conjuration, Mysticism and Destruction.

There's really no need for a Necromancy skill, when those skills already fill the market up.

Not according to lore.
