Jerimiah: The Deformed Super Mutant

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:37 pm

This is a story about a super mutant named Jeremiah.

Jeremiah had gone through the F.E.V process he was only a small child. He was abducted by a group of super mutants when he was at the budding young age of 14. He was taken by the raiding party to the hellish Vault 92 and put through the grueling process of F.E.V immediately upon his entrapment. Locked in a small room while being exposed to F.E.V for years, Jeremiah had to endure with the little water or food served to him. His nourishment was forced through a slit in the bars that was supposed to be a window in his prison-like cell. This solitary confinement of sorts made him go almost completely insane.
Day by day Jeremiah noticed the change of the F.E.V virus take affect. His hair started to fall out a month into the process. Around 5 months into the process he noticed his skin change complexion and start to turn a yellowish tint. At 9 months his lips started to disappear altogether, absorbing into his face. At that time the super mutants who had been running the F.E.V chambers of the vault turned off the nozzles in his chamber to allow the F.E.V to spread more efficiently. The day after they did this, a strange thing happened to him, his hair started to grow back in patches, barely enough to cover his head. It had lost the black coarseness it had before. Now his hair was gray and very thin. The F.E.V virus had leaked into his brain feeding on his thoughts, but after the chamber had been turned off, Jeremiah started to remember his life before being taken from Canterbury Commons. He remembered his mom and his dad. Slowly and slowly Jeremiah plotted his escape.
Jeremiah began to gather every last bit of scrap that may be useful inside his cell. He remembered how his dad showed him how to create a make-shift knife out of scrap metal found on rusted cars. He noticed that the metal that made up the walls of his cell was some-what like that. Testing his strength and mutations, he used his newfound strength to punch a hole in the wall and used the scraqes for his weapon. It was just out of sight of the passing guards. He found that although his hand had been deformed and mutilated it was harder than diamonds. He used the sharp edges of hole in the wall to sharpen and flatten his saber. All he had to do now was wait...
While waiting for his moment to escape, Jeremiah noticed some of his humanly features growing back. It was as if he were growing out of the F.E.V. His upper lip grew back entirely, while his bottom grew back only a slight bit. His skin remained a yellowish tint, but now had tan blotches in some areas. He noticed that he grew significantly from when he was first brought here. He was around 6' 8' now, whereas he was just 5'7' when he first arrived. No one would've guessed he was just 15 years old.

The day of his escape arrived when they came into his cell on the day marking his 2 year holding in the cell. They came in to check to see if he was fully a super mutant. He knew that they wouldn't accept that he was a full super mutant, so he had to escape another way. He hid the knife inside his pants waistband and prepared for the inspection. Two bigger super mutants walked into his cell. When the first one for behind him, he spun around and sliced its jugular. While the second super mutant stared in shock, he dispatched of it the same way. He left the two to bleed to death and ran out the door. As he sprinted down the narrow hallway, he heard an alarm being sounded. He had no idea that they had one set up? He ran as fast and as hard as he could to the door at the end of the hallway, and slammed it behind him. He did the same to the next door, only this time there was another super mutant at the end of the hallway. He kept running and knocked it down. He opened the door, but this time didn't bother to shut it because right in front of him was the vault door. He sprinted to it and tried to shut it, but it was jammed. At the end of the hallway he just came out of he saw at least 3 super mutants trying to catch him before he escaped. He wouldn't have thought much of them, but these ones had Chinese Assault Rifles and immediately began to fire at him. Nervous, he stumbled to press the correct buttons and pull the lever. As a super mutant began sprinting for the door, Jeremiah froze, not knowing what to do. What should he do? Should he stay and fight? Or run for the door and forget about the vault door closing? You decide. Send in your votes to how it ends on this poll and you get to decide the fate of Jeremiah.

Note: This is an interactive story that lets you decide the fate of our hero. The story will be closing on Wednesday and the new story will be up on Saturday. Please give me your feedback and future suggestions.

I think you just need to space between each paragraph. But I like it!

Creative, I like how you ask your readers to finish the story, it's almost as if you got cockblocked and are asking for advice from your readers... Jkjk I like it.

This is pretty good! One thing, though, you should break the text into smaller paragraphs. Other than that, this is great. Keep it up.
