What weapons? : V - Skyrim

I want my crossbows and spears back from TES III. Spell Books would be a cool thing to have, as a casting focus for Mages.

But no guns. I'm a Steampunk and I do NOT want guns in TES. At least in this Era.

Are you kidding.... you really don't think there has ever been soldiers who dual wield effectively? Wow... what world have you lived in all of these years? Have you heard of the The Egyptians? The Romans? The Vikings? The Japanese? All of these have dual wielded weapons, and very masterfully (the japanese imo the most gracefully). Dual Wielding weapons is a concept thousands of years old, so how in the bloody hell can you say masters of fighting with blades can not do it... and that there is never any recorded history of them doing so? The japanese used to carry, not one, not always two, but occasionally THREE swords into battle. One, their primary weapon, was used as a double-handed weapon. The two smaller ones were used to dispatch enemies as kill and forget weapons, or to dual wield with.

The smaller blade, usually either the wakizashi or tanto, was mainly used for ritual suicide, but there have been cases of Samurai using them as dual wielding blades. Mainly however, strictly for ritual suicide use.
But yes i have to agree with you, pretty well every ancient culture has had warriors who dual wielded

I'd like to have throwing weapons and spears back.

Dual wielding would be very cool, also the ability for weapons (i.e. two handed) to block

For sure:

1) Bow and arrows.

2) Swords, Longswords, short Swords, and Daggers.

3) Maces, Hammers, Clubs.

Perhaps:

1) Spell books

2) Scrolls

3) Staffs and Wands

Desired:

1) Bolas.

2) Traps

3) Spears

4) Throwable potions.

traps would be nice.

Wands could be like a stealthy one handed staff cause they pretty much are. Their sticks with magic coming out of them much like staffs only smaller the lore would be fine.

Spell book don't make much sense though. Books are for reading. Read and memorize your spell before battle.

Guns- not in this fantasy universe. Crossbows/throwing objects would be enough.

Traps - Sure. Another means for my dark brotherhood character to dispatch targets. :evil:

Guns - No, and anyone suggesting this in an Elderscolls game deserves to be flogged.

Dual Wielding - Yes please. I love using two weapons at once. And for crying out loud people its a game. Screw practicality, this is a FANTASY setting.

Wands - Why not? I wouldn't mind seeing them. Also, why must everyone go "this is not Harry Potter?" People, J.K. Rowling did not invent the friggin' concept.

Fist Weapons - Again, sure. Claws, knuckles, etc. would be nice to see.

Other - Polearms, Flails, Thrown Weapons (knives, stars, etc.).
