Monitor displays "No Signal"

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:31 pm

I just bought GOTY edition and logged around 8 hours on my character on High Settings with no problems at all. No lag, or anything and only maybe 3 CTDs throughout. Then all of a sudden when I exited my megaton house, my monitor went blank (as if it had been unplugged or something) and displayed "No Signal" then shut off. I could hear sounds from the game still, but it was unresponsive, and CTL ALT DEL didnt work. I had to manually shut my machine down and reboot. Now every time I load a save and go outside it does this. WTF!?

I'm using windows 7 64bit with a Radeon HD 3850 and 2GB RAM. I have no trouble playing oblivion on high settings or even running Crysis on medium settings. I dont know why Fallout 3 is the only one with this problem.

Any help would be appreciated guys!

Your power supply is inadequate. Get the size that is recommended for that video card, and choose from a High Quality brand, nothing semi- generic can be trusted.

I dont think thats it. I have a 650watt power supply from a good brand, and my card only requires 450watt. Thanks for the quick reply though!
