Fallout Trilogy on Wednesday?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:33 am

According to Joystiq:

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/20/now-playing-april-19-25-2009/#pc

Fallout Trilogy (Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics) (PC) [USA] $19.99 WED

Is this true or is another one of their mess-ups? I know you can get it online now, but I would need to get it at a brick-and-mortar as I have nothing to pay online.

Is there any more information that it's coming Wednesday?

Or just download each one for $5.99 on GOG.com and save $2! :)

I'm sure Joystiq will cash in on a few less informed buyers. But this is hardly noteworthy. The trilogy is available, and cheaper elsewhere, and has been for quite a while.

What point of
I have nothing to pay online

don't you understand?

I cannot buy it online as I have nothing to use for online shopping. I would need to get it at a store. A physical copy on a disc at an actual store.

Use a prepaid Mastercard or Visa if you want to get it online.

Every western country i know has prepaid visa cards available for those of low income/credit rating or those who do not want to have to take out any credit.

EDIT- I found this link for anyone whos interested in pre paid cards http://usa.visa.com/personal/cards/prepaid/reloadable_prepaid_card.html hope it helps.

This is just a retail release for people like me who don't like online distribution. I already have the games included, though; so this compilation doesn't interest me.

So I checked Walmart today and they didn't have it. So did it come out today or was it some sort of mistake on Joystiq's part? I'm going to see if they have it at Best Buy tomorrow. I called and no one picked up.

Considering that nobody mentions it on any of their websites (GameStop/EB, Best Buy, etc.), I'd guess that this is an error. They've been selling this package in Europe for years and it is widely available in the US via importing to the point that I've seen it at the Frys chain. If you really want this there are multiple ways to acquire it.
