Didn't a manual/readme come with it? I've never downloaded/used anything like that.

Assuming you've reached the middle-game, buying shouldn't be such a difficult aspect. I can get through the originals quite wealthily without investing any points in barter from start to finish. There's far too much loot to sell I find. And the nerfed selling mechanic makes it that much easier.

I find that armour isn't such a must-have necessity until the late game anyway, if you pick your battles you should be fine until then. But that's just me.

the read-me didnt say anything but who the creator was and the name of the program. THe problem im facing is that I cant complete a good amount quests due to my lack of firepower and armor. All the merchants have a good amount of stuff but I cant buy it bc my gear is crappy and not worth nearly enough.

Hmmm. What gear are you sporting currently? What's your level, and how far are you into the game in terms of questing?

Also, if you're suffering from super-quick world map travel, I'd advise you patch your game to clock it back to normal speed, then you'll have more of an opportunity for random encounters, and more loot associated with those encounters.

What locations have you visited? There is a lot of loot to find everywhere. Sometimes you have to kill someone to get it, sometimes you just need to get lucky on a random encounter with enemies that kill eachother before turning on you. When I leave the Den I usually have about 3 guns I can use for the next 5 levels and some other guns, weapons and items to sell at places like Vault City or New Reno.

Yikes. Actually that's not that bad depending on where you are. I'd get hold of a hunting rifle personally, you can't beat that .223 ammo for some conventional power, and even without a scope you'll be able to do a fair amount of shooting at a safe enough distance.

Beyond that I don't know what to tell you. Just pick your battles and slowly but surely you'll have the commodities to barter for some better weaponry :)

I'd suggest that you continue to play without the editor. Failing that, if you are using Falche, you start it up, and it will list your save games. Select a saved game. You can adjust the SPECIAL, tags, traits, and individual skills. Save, exit out, run Fallout and load that saved game.
