I think you should be able to choose the enemy side in the main quest and do thing that are generaly fowned upon. Most quest should have 2 sides somthing lacking in OB. please dicuss

I have an idea of what may happen in Skyrim:

You can choose Side A or Side B in the Skyrim Civil War that alters the Main Quest heavily. But that's just a guess.

I agree. However if you want two sides to each quest that means a good ending for an evil quest. It would be interesting to see how Bethesda would handle the good path for a faction like the Dark Brotherhood.

I would like to be evil. But not stupid, take candy from a baby evil. I want to be self-serving, I want to forge alliances and break them when I have no more to gain from them. I want to take a quest and complete it for the highest bidder. I don't want quests to be "save X from Y or bring X to Y" type. I want them to be "If X pays me more than Y THEN I'll save them from Y" type.

I do not want to be "Arrrgh, me smash, me kill," kind of evil

I think we should have multiple possible outcomes but not as black and white as good and evil.

I'd rather have 2 'grey' factions than one all good and one all evil fighting each other.

Oh, very. Like how it was done with the politic at Daggefall or the Houses at Morrowind; Many have interests, some might backstab ya, some are for business, some might even give ya fame, but in all, no evil for giggles or good for the sake of good.

I want to take the youngest of a group of orphaned children and slowly lower them into a vat of boiling oil and then eat them when they are fried, with their siblings being forced to watch the whole time.

ooooooooooooooookaaaaaaaay...

/runaway

Anyway, I would rather they put the time in to make a really great main quest with one ending/path. Also, let's say that there is an evil path, who's to say what is left after? Would you really want an evil path if it closed off a bunch of questlines/killed off a bunch of people? (Both of which it would really have to to in order to differentiate itself from the "good" path)

Not so much evil, but the anti-hero. Like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas
