Should i sell this game back to the store :/

First, to the thread at large-- enough of this "troll" business. EF might be many things, but he's not a troll. He's an active poster who's been here for quite a while who just sort of swings between overly-enthusiastic and dejected, depending on how the game's going. Currently, obviously, it's dejected. He's sincere. He's not a troll.

Now then-- EF.... man.... you know you have kind of a short attention span and you know that if you sell the game back, you're going to regret it. Beyond the fact that you're probably not going to get more than $5 for it anyway, there's just no reason to do it. Sooner or later, you're going to want to play it again, and then you're going to be on here wondering where you can get another copy and lamenting the fact that you sold your last one. Keep the game, set it aside, play something else for a while. Maybe you'll get another hard drive or figure out a way to hook this one up to the 'net long enough to get working GotY content-- maybe you'll just get the urge to play the vanilla content again anyway. In any case, for what you'll get seling it back, it's just not worth it.

It took me five tries, over the course of more than a year, before I really got into this game. Just don't worry about it.

GOTY wont work because my hardrive used to belong to soem one who used "LIVE" they gave it to me when they upgraded to a 250 gig I have never had "LIVE" connected to my system so the data transfer thingy is bugged so i wont be able to play the GOTY unless i get connected to "LIVE"

I recently bough a 60 GIG hardrive came with an etehrnet cable but my computer has only one etehrnet cable port which is being used by the modem , and i cant unplug the modem and put it my console because then my computers internet just goes completly :/ meaning i 100% cant connect to "LIVE"

Could you not http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906502 the HD on the xbox?

Could you not add the 360 to your network?

I'm admittedly 70% ignorant of today's consoles.

Well said, man. Well said. :goodjob:

I second the "don't sell option". You will regret it in 3 months.

I often fall asleep playing Oblivion, the controller hitting the floor wakes me up - but then I reckon thats forgivable when you play like 5 hours straight until 4 am, ;)

I don't see how you could possibly go numb with boredom looking considering this game leads you by the nose to where you need to go.

I would say; "keep the game and pop it in whenever you can't sleep." Personally, I get sleepy reading tediously uninteresting forum threads.

Well, this is true. It will erase everything, but it will be a fresh start. As far as going live, try a wireless adaptor?

Anyways, don't sell the game. You never know what will come down the road in the next 3-6 months. You know as well as I do that the play value of Oblivion is far greater than handing it over to a store for a few bucks. :)
