Upon reading several internet articles I still don't know if TES V is going to happen. I have read articles that say Bethesda have packed in on the whole Elder Scrolls series and a few minutes ago i read one which indicated that Bethesda have already confirmed that it will happen. I am very much among those who will be very, very disappointed if it doesn't happen. Please, somebody, tell me what's going on!

I hope so.

TES V will happen. Even if Bethesda ends it. Some of the people here are so dedicated it would take a chunk out of their day-to-day-life. Fans would restart the project and continue making TES Games. Ex-Devs would probably even help.

The book says "TES 5 will occur 200 years after oblivion" so then that seems like the answer is yes.
