I've done bit of DMing before, and i'm a novice myself. Thisll be an open RP for begginers, so join if you'd like. Once Ragnokk posts something, I'll start.

armour: full chain mail apart from a strange briast plate made of a dunmer metal no helmet and no shield

spells: destruction: flare shock launch frost touch conjuration: skeleton daedra ancestor guardian

weapons: two steel long swords and a steel bow with silver arrows

misc inventory: 5 healing potions 1 fatigue potion 2 magika potions and a book on daedric runes

class: custom class: druchii

main skills: blade, destruction, light armour, marksman, blunt, conjuration, alteration

attributes: strength, willpower

short bio: born close to the border of morrowind this dark elf tried to join the dunmer legion at the age of 19 but they turned him down for reasons he will not reveal. He tried to serve in the imperial legion but didn't enjoy it and so he became an adventurer...

It was about 10 at night at the Silverhome on the Water in the shabby town of Bravil. Ragnokk, the dark elf, was sitting at the bar. A nord and an elf sang a shanty next to him, arms over shoulders, drunk as can be, while the barkeep chanted with a breton about the recent assassination of Morrowind's Duke Vedam Dren. Suddenly, a smash followed by splintering of wood muted all of the noise in the bar. Three Imperial guards stormed up to Ragnokk, the leader of the group grasping him by the collar. "Dark elf," he spat, "you are under arrest for the murder of your beloved duke. Come with us to the Imperial City calmly, and you might receive a fair trial."

No, you didn't kill him.

wtf :flame: ragnokk cries and turns on the guards "i never even knew the duke i lived in a village near cheydinhal most of my life!" refusing to back down the guards insist that he is a murderer but seem to have no evidence to support their theory. seeing no other way out ragnokk draws his twin longswords and prepares himself to fight his way out. the first blow is good and the imperial is dead quickly but the second has a shield and the third has drawn back a distance and is using a bow to deadly effect. ragnokk swings into his favourite move "the x-snake" :toughninja: but the shield bars his way and the damage probably wont suffice.

The guard efficiently blocks the blow and follows through with an uppercut. Dodging the swing is easy for Ragnokk, and he launches himself of the wall at the imperial, seeing this as the best chance for an attack. However, the guard grabs him and holds him out in front of the archer. A "twang" sounds from the bow, sending an arrow towards Ragnokk's head. A simple duck sends the arrow through the neck of the guard, and him collapses.

OCC: Your being blamed for an assassination u didnt do. It's really casual, as you can see. Join if you like.

ragnokk jumps up into the air and uses the momentium to leap over the archer and leave one of his swords between the imperials shoulder blades.
ragnokk runs out of the pub and into the street, the castle is in flames and dark elves are everywhere slaying many in the street "there he is" an imperial and a dunmer shout in unison puzzled by this ragnokk runs out of the town only to be greeted by the sight of dark elf war ships docked at the river. he continues to run aiming to get to his private librarian who should know more

If u dont like the rp dont join anyway i think we are ready now so here goes another wave of gaurds run towards me but i manage to esc ape and arive at the library before dawn

Please sort this RP out into some semblance of order as it does not seem to be going anywhere.

Some advice:

First, a Story, make a story in the OPENING POST so everyone can instantly learn the basic plot; and

Second, Make a list of rules that will apply to the RP such as no god-modding, or being realistic, romance/no romance, that sort of stuff

Third, make sure no one character controls without permission from the character controlee, the one whjo's character is getting controlled

For things like that "Wtf" followed by the emote, put that in OOC (Out of Character) or write it liek this (OOC: Wtf followed by emote).

And DONT use emotes other then FOR OOC posts!

Anbd finnaly, make sure you are using CORRECT grammer and spelling, well, spellign not so much, but grammer in your posts. You need to know where and when to make a new paragraph or to end one, how to punctuate sentences and all that jazz.

Erm, yes, how often do you here a character in Oblivion using other web chat abbreviations like OMG or LOL? If your goona swear, say the entire swear, abbreviations will get you kill out here :\ Though, most people like keeping the swearing tasteful. Me for one. None of the distastfulness from Fallout 3, even though it is still a great game.
