Splashes trouble

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:44 am

Now, most apologies if this is in the wrong section.. I'm just really in need of an answer :<

I've been working on a bunch of splash screens, but when I try to put them in game, I come across an interesting problem... They're completely white.

So far, I've been hastily trying to fix it by swapping around the bits/pixels, but to no avail.

Does anyone know a fix? The files are 1920x1080 at 300dpi tga's.

Thanks!

Not sure, this is what I'd try, in order
- make them square (1920x1920)
- if they are 32 bit TGA, make them 24 bit TGA
- make them standard size (1024x1024)

After the tests you recommended, I still haven't found a fix. Would there be a chance of a splash artist coming along and helping me? :/

Make them square, and a power of two (512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048). Morrowind will stretch or shrink to fit your screen.
