The Hands of Almalexia?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:19 am

I was thinking about the Hands of Almalexia. I know that they protect Almalexia in any way they can and were granted divine powers from her but I have a question. Where did they come from? Were they once High Orids or just very great warriors from Morrowind? I've always thought about this but Never could find the answer. My guess is that they were once high Ordinators then they were personally picked by Almalexia to be her holy guards. Or they could possibly be just very strong warriors that Almalexia found in her travels. Anyone know the answer or have any ideas? Please share if you do. Thanks.

If I had to guess, they're just exceptionally skilled High Ordinators who Almalexia decided to make part of a special order, Her Hands. Special powers and enchanted armour, and poof, she's got herself some real nifty bodyguards.

Fat load of good they did her. Wonder what'll happen to them and their little group now that psycho lady's dead?

The answer is simple: they'll follow whoever is second in command in Mournholds Temple organisation, if he has enough influence over them without Almalexias protection. If not, other people will get rid of him and whoever's next in line with enough power and leadership skills will be made their "leader".

Supposedly the second in command of the temple is the Alma-Rula. Perhaps he will lead them now.

A member of the mod Tamriel Rebuilt also wrote a book about them. Though the book is mostly just pure speculation, it is still an interesting read: http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=lore/books§ion=137896

She did say that she had allowed Salas Valor to get "too close".

Yeah. Probably Salas had sixy time with Alma, BUT WENT MAD.

High Ordinators are the logical creation of any powerful enitity that flaunts social aspects. They can and will do things that noone else can, becuase of Almalexia.

Of course!

It all makes SENSE now. Don't you all see?

Almalexia's madness had NOTHING to do with the Heart of Lorkhan.

She had syphilis! :ahhh:

Apparently they were elite warriors having been trained by Almalexia herself. Their armor was also heavily enchanted by her, which begs the question - is the enchantment permanent or will it gradually wear off after her death? I imagine it may, in much the same way the Ghostfence fell after the Heart of Lorkhan was tonally rearranged.
