Deffo worth reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy. The film doesn't do it justice. Makes you consider your priorities. I'm sure we've all had those conversations of what we'd do in the event of X disaster, serial killer on the loose in your area, right down to the unlikely zombie invasion. lol Mine remain packing up and looking out for myself because I'm a single guy and my priority is my own well being. Shallow, heh, and with nobody else to consider, my chances of survival increase. Heh.
The Road gave me a glimpse of priorities probably matching my brother's. In a relationship with a child. His first thought wouldn't be to jump in a car, grab some supplies, and do one to a safe area. His first priority is his girlfriend and son, his entire plan would be with a view to ensuring their safety, maybe even putting himself at risk to get to them, even if it seems impossible.
S'a good read, anyway. I suggest you give it a gander. :goodjob:
