I really dotn like whats they did on gameplay

Bfore the E3 2010 the gameplay in brink was really cool i mean by thats the ennemies did no have thats kinda damage bar over their head . In my point of view they must revove this these kinda thing have a huge impact on the graphics quality ... its less imersive and fun to play whith those kinda bar at least allow us to desactivate it ?? in thats link u can see a xbox 360 version of the game post in 2009http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPAI7anCJE0 as u can see u only have kinda xp bonus show up when the ennemies die thats way is cool and dont make the graphics suffers of all those damage indicator

Thats getting on my nerfs HOPE they will change this now the game look like borderlands :S when it was 1000 time better before

In my point of view this kinda damage bar like this link there must be remoove and bring back to the original one thats only show xp if they want it markers just implement hit markers like kill zone call of duty mag or many other game but not a damage bar like mmo and rpg :S thats really bad (N) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mho-QeFh0Kk&feature=related

To be honest i dont dislike any of the system, but showing the hp bar on the enemys does affect the gameplay strategy, i play a hl2 mod that have that system, its not bad, just makes you try to kill the dudes with low hp and maybe leave alone the ones u see have the health bar full lol. I hope they implement shared kills system like tf2 : D To avoid that

Well, the post above me is pretty darn good.

Although maybe this might make it unbalanced, it would be cool if it was a medic ability to choose from, that you can see enemy HP levels.

I don't think you should have HP bars of enemies shown for everyone though. It would unbalance things if people picked off the low health dudes, but allowed their teammates to get mowed down by a serious threat.

In my point of view its on the esthethics level the first like ive show up was the (( hold version )) of it and it was betters i hate to have my screen loaded whith a tons of HP indicator :S:S:S especially when the graphics are really good and i also dont like the xp bonus show up every single shell u shoot ...

THIS GAME BECAME BORDERLANDS ?? BECAUSE WHITH THIS XP AND DAMAGE BAR ITS SEAMS TO BE BORDERLANDS !!! and i dont like it at all

haven't watched the clip in a while, but wasn't it so that you saw the hp of your teammates, and the hp of the guy you aim at?

In one Video it was like that, yes. In some videos you see an XP feedback on every hit and no health bar. In others you see just one XP feedback after a kill (and also no healthbar) and I also saw videos where there was no XP or healthbar at all (which I like the most). Maybe you can even set these things up in the game options but probably these were just different development stages of the game.

Bawwwww, they have a tiny little health bar.

Seriously, it's really not that big, and would probably be toggleable.

Like other people said, most of the HUD should be a toggle option. I'm with you though Stew, I don't like a whole lot going on the screen. I like to experience the game, not the interface.

Also, Stew360 from MAG???

The topic of customizable HUD was beat into the ground a week or two back.

If youre curious about peoples opinions:

Personally, I would rather have more information on the screen rather than less, even if I don't use it.

About the health bars, I'm not sure if targeting players with low HP (just to get top frag) will be much of a problem with the lack of persistent stats. I'm sure I would change my strategy based on my HP and the opponents, but I personally wouldn't ignore an enemy just to keep myself alive, especially with revives and respawns being quite easy.

With SD wanting objective based play to be the focus of Brink, I cant imagine them putting something like health bars, that could potentially change strategy significantly, without thinking about it long and hard, not to mention countless hours of testing.
