Is there any reason why the "F" keyboard short cut would not work? I have an NPC I am trying to place. I created a new NPC, gave him an ID/Name, and gave him a robe. Then I am trying to get him to fall to the ground level (using F) and he's not doing what he should
be doing. Any advice on what I can do to get that short key command to work again?

NPC's dont really touch their feet to the ground when you use the F key, unlike most other objects. if you want them lower, hold Z with left mouse button held aswell, while moving the mouse up or down and play around with it. not too low, or hw will be stuck in the ground xD

It's not too important though.
NPCs and Creatures will automatically set their feet on the ground when the cell loads in-game.

As long as they are within a reasonable distance of the ground (head not stuck in ceiling) don't worry too much.

Except the ones that fly away over time... like the infamous levitating Sharn gra-Muzgob.
