Hi,

This problem seems to be an issue XBox360 and PC users encountered as well - the 'Duck and Cover!' book you can acquire in the Residential District of the Sierra Madre (where you first encounter Dean Domino, specifically) is stuck under the bed located in the room. The book looks like it was intended to be on top of the bed, but the actual in-game location is underneath it where the book is now impossible(?) to obtain. Attempts to shift the book with grenades to knock it free or into grasping range find that the book will instead encounter invisible walls which keep it permanently trapped. I've read of only two individual accounts of people using 1) a tremendous amount of explosives (22 gas bombs, 3 C4s, etc.) to 'shift' the book to a side of the bed where it's obtainable or 2) knock the book into view with a grenade, then drop a spear from your inventory halfway into the bed (and on top of the book) to dislodge it, but these accounts are unconfirmed and seem to be using exploits at best.

Any hope of getting this issue looked into or addressed in the future? Losing the skill book isn't game-ender, but it is disappointing to have it denied when seemingly so close.

I recently used explosives to dislodge the book myself. I believe I used 1 C4 and 3-4 frag mines dropped between the bed and wall near the head of the bed. The resulting explosion shot the book several feet away from the bed.

I'd still like to see this bug fixed mind you, I only knew the book was even there thanks to the wiki.
