I fourth this notion. I didn't have a freeze once, but patch 1.04 [censored] my game. Freezing every 5 minutes. It's sad b/c I just got the game 2 days before the patch ):

I am getting real tired of restarting the game because of freezing; the lagging is annoying but the freezing is making me wish that I didn't buy the game.

It was NEAR PERFECT before dead money and the patch!

What the hell is wrong with you Bethesda/Obsidian?
You want us to get your dlc's, but they screw us over

Are we supposed to say thanks?!

I've been having the same issues, I deleted the Dead Money DLC and it seems to have resolved the problem. I hope Bethesda fixes this problem so i can play Dead Money at a later date

I just want to say that after coming from the Bioshock 2 DLC debacle (they are still selling a DLC that is unplayable, there map pack DLC that they sell for MP still has issues that they resolved to fix and completely blew off, check out Cult of Rapture forums) that Bethesds has been pretty good in "trying" to help get patches out in a timely manner and acknowledging community complaints. Nothing is worse than paying for something that can never work right or causes something else to stop working but considering how long some of the process takes I think some patience is in order. Yes in this digital world we want instant gratification but considering the games complexity I think its been handled pretty well. Let the flaming begin.

laziness, and not caring about putting a decent game out there. i'm about 10 minutes from snapping my disc in half and never buying another fallout ever again.

I'm not sure but is it possible to delete the patch from fnv and play without it on ps3? I have veeeeery laggy and freezing times in fnv, but could deleting 1.04 help in anyway, or would it glitch the game evenmore.

You can delete your game data (not your saves) which removes the patch. On the PS3 I have done it a couple times without issue but if you have any DLC it will have to be reinstalled. Patches will also re-install once you start playing again (as long as you have internet connected)..
